The Amazigh people have populated North Africa for thousands of years and despite continuous invasions, they continue to preserve their culture and traditions. Herodotus called us the descendants of Troy who fled to North Africa after it was conquered by the Greeks, Sallustus called us Persian, and Procopus called us Cananeans who fled to North Africa after David defeated Goliath. But we are natives in North Africa.
