1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information provided through our authentication provider (Clerk). When you use our analytics tools, we log which subreddits and keywords you search for to operate and improve the service. When you send a bug report, we store your message, the screenshot of the page (if you leave it attached) and technical context such as the page address, your browser, screen size and recent errors, so we can find and fix the problem.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the KissMyPost service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send important service updates
- Improve our analytics and features
3. Data we analyze
KissMyPost analyzes publicly available Reddit data, including posts, comments and subreddit metadata. We do not collect or store private Reddit messages or non-public user data.
4. Where your data is stored (EU / GDPR)
Our analytics infrastructure and stored data are hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), including the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. 5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Clerk — sign-in and account management
- Stripe — payment processing (card details go directly to Stripe)
- Vercel — hosting
- Supabase — our database for accounts, subscriptions, kiss balances and the waitlist
- Upstash — rate limiting to protect the service from abuse
- Resend — sending emails (welcome and purchase confirmation emails)
- PostHog (EU) — product analytics and error reports. In your browser it runs only if you accept analytics cookies; our servers also record which features signed-in users use.
- Google Tag Manager — loads Google Analytics to measure visits and purchases, only if you accept analytics cookies
- Reddit — embedded Reddit posts are loaded from Reddit
- CARTO — base map tiles on the Places Atlas
- DuckDuckGo — website icons shown next to brands

6. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also export your data or request information about what we store.
