Sri Lanka’s civil war left no community untouched. The state deepened ethnic divides, while the LTTE claimed to fight for liberation but carried out massacres, assassinations, and forced recruitment, often harming the very Tamils it claimed to protect. This subreddit examines BOTH state and insurgent crimes, their causes, their consequences, and how they’re remembered, without denial, glorification, or selective amnesia. Posts on Sri Lanka’s history, identity, and politics are also welcome
