Compare subreddits for free: who's older, who's into what
Playground is a free subreddit comparison tool. Put one subreddit against another and get a report on their regulars: gender and age, where else they post, what they're into and which US states lean their way. Only clear differences make the report, and each one becomes a card you can download or share. No sign-up and no card.
Free. No sign-up, no card.

What Playground does
Who
The share of women and the age mix on each side, with each side's median age, among regulars who state them.
Hangouts
Where else each side's regulars post, and the subreddits both sides share.
Lifestyle
What each side is into, from shows to cars, kept only where the gap between the two sides is clear.
US states
The states where one side clearly outnumbers the other.
Cards to download and share
Each clear difference becomes a fact card. Download one, Download all, Share a card or Share this comparison; the card carries kissmypost.com/play.
Who's here in r/<subreddit>
See who's here in one subreddit: its regulars measured against Reddit's regulars as a whole, with Download PNG, Share and Copy link. Safe-for-work subreddits only.
How Playground works
Pick two sides
Type a subreddit on each side, or start from one of the popular comparisons such as cats vs dogs.
Read the report
Switch between Who, Hangouts, Lifestyle and US states. Anything without a clear difference stays out.

What Playground doesn't do
Here is what it won't do, so you know before you start.
- Free comparisons are one subreddit against one. Groups of up to 10 subreddits a side need a paid plan.
- Without an account you see the first 3 rows of each list; a free account opens the rest, no card needed.
- Only regulars count: people who read a subreddit without posting leave no trace in it.
- Gender and age come from regulars who state them, so they describe those regulars, not every member.
Playground: common questions
How do I compare two subreddits?
Open Playground, type one subreddit on each side and press Compare. The report shows gender and age, where else each side's regulars post, what they're into and which US states lean their way.
Is Playground free?
Yes. Comparing one subreddit with another is free without an account, up to 25 new comparisons a day, and popular comparisons never count toward that. A free account lets you run more every day and opens the full lists, with no card needed; groups of subreddits need a paid plan.
Can I see who is in a single subreddit?
Yes. Who's here in r/<subreddit> measures one subreddit's regulars against Reddit's regulars as a whole and gives you a card to download or share.
Who counts as a regular?
An account with 5 or more posts or comments in the subreddit over the 12 months, October 2025 to September 2026.
Can I share the results?
Yes. Every clear difference is a card you can download as a PNG or share, and Share this comparison gives you a link to the whole report.
Why are some differences missing from the report?
Playground keeps a difference only when it is clear for the number of regulars on each side, so a small gap between two small subreddits stays out rather than being shown as a fact.
Open Playground. It's free.
Put two subreddits side by side and see who's older, who has more women and where their regulars hang out. Free.
